WHAT:
The Experience, Strength and Hope Award is given in recognition of an individual’s honest memoir including their journey though addiction to recovery, and their dedication and enthusiasm for carrying the ‘message’ to a society awash in addiction. This year’s honoree is actor and author Joe Pantoliano for his memoir Asylum.
The event includes catered cuisine and 90-minute social soiree. Tickets are $50 with proceeds benefitting Writers in Treatment, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization grounded in recovery and the arts. The organization produces the national multi-city REEL Recovery Film Festival & Symposium.
