MAKE YOUR NEXT MURDERER A REAL KILLER
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (BEWARE)
Los Angeles, California. July 9, 2009. Dr. Howard Gluss presents the ESSENTIAL SCREENWRITER’S SEMINAR at the LA Film School, 6363 W Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028, on Saturday, July 25th from 11:00AM – 2:00PM.
Dr. Gluss is a psychologist in private practice in Beverly Hills and author of “REEL PEOPLE: Finding Ourselves at the Movies”.
This seminar offers a remarkable way to understand and create believable characters and storylines through informed psychological examinations of a character’s psychopathology. Also included is a special segment focused on creating authentic, psychologically accurate serial murderers, killers and anti-social characters.
Participants will view selected clips from classic films such as Dillinger, Kiss of Death, Natural Born Killers and Pulp Fiction. Through effectively integrating psychological theory into the creative process, writers will learn how to psychoanalyze their own creations – to literally “put them on the couch” and by using this method have them come to life.
Fee: $60.00, refreshments included. 20% off for enrollment before July 10th.
Students receive a 30% discount.
All proceeds from the ESSENTIAL SCREENWRITER’S SEMINAR benefits Writers In Treatment, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
The ESSENTIAL SCREENWRITER’S SEMINAR is one of many educational/fundraising events sponsored by Writers In Treatment (www.writersintreatment.org), a public charity founded in 2008 by Leonard Lee Buschel and Robert Downey Sr. It is an organization that helps writers addicted to alcohol and/or drugs get treatment for their disease.
