Casa De Las Amigas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1968.  We offer the hope of recovery to women with drug or alcohol addiction.  Through a time-tested, integrated program of healing for body and mind, women find a productive, responsible, and sober life.

Writers In Treatment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds treatment for men and women in the writing industry suffering from alcoholism, drug addictions, and other self-destructive behaviors.  We produce free educational and cultural events that celebrate sobriety while reducing the stigma of addiction.


The Experience, Strength and Hope Award is given to well known individuals who have written courageous and honest memoirs about their journey from addiction to recovery.
