Honoring Mackenzie Phillips

This year’s honoree was actor, singer, author and recovery advocate, Mackenzie Phillips. Best known for her roles in American Graffiti and the sitcom One Day at a Time, and last year’s film, Girl on the Edge. Mackenzie also penned High on Arrival, her moving and inspiring memoir.
The Experience, Strength & Hope Award is given in recognition of an individual’s honest memoir, including their journey through addiction to recovery, and their dedication and enthusiasm for carrying the ‘message’ to a society awash in addiction.
Net proceeds go to the health and wellness REEL Recovery Film Festival and Symposium.
